如果你記性好的話,應該會記得有說過申請 AE PLATINUM CARD(鋼卡)是為了它的旅遊保險。朋友 W 早前不幸在旅行中有損失,迫不得已需要 Claim 這張鋼卡的保險,以下就跟大家簡單的分享一下他的經歷。
簡單而言,他旅行途中失去了手機,而行李箱也被航空公司弄壞了,所以它在準備好相關的報失等文件後,便向 AE PLATINUM CARD(鋼卡)負責的保險公司發 Email 申請。保險條款等按此:PDF。
厲害的是,這次 Claim 保險的速度奇快。1 March 2019 0120am 遞交表格,2 March 2019 已經收到確認保險電郵,表示將於 7 天內付款,速度實在太快了,信件內容如下:
We acknowledge receipt of the claim documents in respect of the captioned claim. Having reviewed the documents submitted, we agree to settle HK$2,250 being the full and final settlement of the captioned claim. Below is the adjustment breakdown for your reference.
Adjustment:
Phone: HKD2,000 (max. limit per article)
Suitcase: HKD1,500 x0.7 – HKD800 = HKD250 (less depreciation and compensation from airline)Kindly note that this settlement is made on without prejudice basis and cannot be construed as a precedent.
